Meet John

Papa bear. This is John, the leader of the pack. All this started because I want to spend more time with him, meaning he needs to retire soon! I've been pondering how to supplement our retirement income for the gap between his somewhat early retirement and full retirement, and we want to work together whatever that may be. We've always enjoyed growing things together - kids, grandkids, gardens - and cooking together when we can. He is the grill master, and his fried potatoes can't be beat! This adventure is dedicated to him and the wonderful life he has provided for our entire family. We're so grateful for his steadfast faith and dedication to God and to us. He is a servant-leader through and through. I can't wait to see the things he'll accomplish when he gets to pursue his creative side!

Meet Susan

That's me. I'm the story teller and foodie in the family. I'm often very scatter-brained, but they love me anyway. I love to cook good food and feed people. I love the way gathering around a table over a shared meal makes us feel like we are part of something special. I'm a firm believer that if you feed them they will come!

Meet Christina

She is the resident tea sommelier, photographer, and author. She homeschools her two little boys, and manages her own small business - Bourne Again Goods. She collaborates with several other small business owners, and hosts a monthly book club, Beyond the Page. Christina will bring the handmade collections to life for Brooks and Meadow. She has a never ending imagination and has a good eye for bringing things together in a lovely way. 

Meet Rachel

Rachel often works alongside me in the kitchen. We have developed a rhythm that works like a well-oiled machine. She has perfected the art of cocoa bombs, and many other confections, but her cookies are her most sought after delights. She brings a wonderful variety of sweet treats to our cottage kitchen, including a growing number of gluten friendly recipes. If you have a sweet tooth - you don't want to miss what she will come up with next!
